FAQs

So, Are you legit?

I am fully insured, PVG checked, self-employed sole trader ; using professional canon equipment and adobe editing suite. This is my full time job. Before something such as a wedding we’ll sign an agreement. I’m absolutely commited to high professional standards… so yeah I’m legit.

Pricing & Experience

I’ve been doing weddings now for 5 years. My pricing model currently is to charge “all-in”

( for everything except minis sessions ) and give you every edited image, because I’ve done the work anyway and I really want you to have ALL the pictures!

(Although I have no immediate plans to change this model , I’ll keep reviewing my pricing structure.)

My experience is growing year on year. Summer 2022 marked a turning point as my youngest started school and I have more time to devote to my business. Photography excites me and I’m excited to be evolving and only getting better at what I do.

You suit our budget but we are looking for a different style, shall we hire you ?

To be blunt … No! It’s really important you’re on a wavelength with your photographer, you need to like their previous work and share a vibe or a vision.

There’s nothing standard about our wedding, will we have to pay standard wedding prices?

Maybe you’re eloping , maybe you are renewing your vows or having a 3 day celebration. Just get in touch, I’m happy to give you a bespoke price for any event.

Will you travel to photograph our wedding?

Yes, tell me about your wedding and we can make plans. There’s certain places in the UK I have connections with and like going back. Travel and accomodation costs may apply, but let’s chat!

How long after my wedding will I recieve my photographs?

I aim to give you a sneak peek of 10 or so images in the first week. The full gallery of digital images delivered within 8 weeks. (I’ll aim for sooner, but 8 weeks is realistic for now over busy periods)

How many photographs will I receive from my wedding?

This is hard to judge without knowing size and length of the day, but let’s say its medium sized, all day coverage- upwards of 500 edited digital images.

You have a relaxed, informal and reportage style- does that mean no group shots?

I’ll take the formal guest group shots if required, but they are time consuming , and can require herding stray family members . I would suggest limiting the number of formal group shots after the ceremony to maybe 4 , and of course many more informal ones can be taken throughout the day.
